It is commonly used for the diagnosis or treatment of inflammation of iris of eye and inner layer of middle eye , enlarge the pupil of the eye before an ophthalmic examination. It has some side effects such as Blurring of near vision,Allergic reaction,Constipation,Dilated pupil. The salts Cyclopentolate are involved in the preparation of C Pen Eye Drops.
