I have a resting heart rate of 102 bpm. Is it normal ? I don't have symptoms like fainting spells, decongestion in chest etc. However, at times, I feel shortness of breath. I was diagnosed with sinus Tachycardia back in 2011. However, Doctor advised me to do some lifestyle modifications. No medicine prescribed. So, should I worry about it. What can I do to lower this Heart Rate. I'm concerned about it. Is it something to worry ? My height is 176 cms and weight is 71 kgs. I don't have any other underlying illness

Dr.
It's normal to have that much heart'rate
NDA. there, they said that this resting heart rate is unacceptable for a flying pilot
Dr.
N as Ur previous doctor has suggested
I'm actually using Fitbit wrist band to monitor
so, when I'm sleeping, it goes to 92
and it shows resting is 102 or 104
and also, I'm not a regular drinker
Dr.
Smoking s very bad for u
Dr.
Irrespective of heart rate
but like I want to know why is it 102 ?
Dr.
Otherwise no issues health wise at present
Dr.
Have u started exercising?
for healthy adults, it is 78.
yeah. I used to play a lot of cricket.
however, I had a fracture in my left elbow. so, I wasn't able to do rigorous physical activities.
I was actually worried. and that makes the situation worse. so, when I'm aware of my heart rate going up, it goes up again and forms a loop.
Dr.
Now u have developed anxiety
so, jogging everyday would be fine ?
Dr.
It will help u in long term
neither carbonated drinks
whenever I check it in the clinic
and also, i monitor it when I occasionally run.
so, for example, for 1.5 kms of running at decent pace, it was 178 on average
